TRIPLE PANE GLASS OPTIONS
Triple pane glazing allows for much greater insulative value offering U-values down to 0.14 (R value of 7.0).
VACUUM GLASS
The future of glazing providing U-values down to 0.07 (R-14) for the most demanding projects such as passive house and net zero.
LARGE SIZES
The addition of structural steel frame inserts adds incredible strength to PVC frames allowing for much larger windows than what has been considered the norm. Feel free to maximize natural light and exceed glazing area limitations to make units feel larger and give tenants a window to the world.
UPVC, SLIMLINE, ALUMINUM, STEEL & WOOD
Specialty products available including PVC, wood, aluminum and slim aluminum frames in dual and triple pane. Perfect for punched commercial windows, storefront or rooftop amenity penthouses and single family residential.
SAFETY & SECURITY
The tilt function of European style windows allow for ventilation but not the entry of unwanted visitors. Laminated glass provides a shatter proof IGU which significantly reduces the ability to enter by breaking the glass.
HIGHLY INSULATIVE
Low U-values allow for reduction in the quantity of solar panels, reduces thickness or necessity of insulation throughout the project. Aids considerably in the performance of Passive House, Built Green, Living Building Challenge and Net Zero projects.
SHORT LEAD-TIME
Lead times of 16 to 20 weeks from receipt of signed shop drawings.
MULTIPLE FRESH AIR OPTIONS
Trickle vents available to meet fresh air flow requirements in apartment units. Window gasket release available by turning window handle to 10 or 2 O’clock position, releasing the entire sash to a ¼” airgap.
COMPETITIVE PRICE
Pricing competitive with local manufacturers for double pane STC 32 and U-value of 0.27. Highly competitive and typically less costly for U-values below 0.26 and STC above 32.
STABILITY
Integrated steel inserted into the German uPVC frame and corner welding make for stable and true square frames. 4 mm glass in lieu of domestic 3 mm adds to the structural strength of the window. Oversized German and Austrian hardware provide locking points on all four sides of the operable window.
RELIABILITY
Tilt and turn windows have been a mainstay in the EU for over 40 years. As energy costs increased more than in the US, European windows evolved beyond their US counterparts. Many years of trial and error has allowed Polish manufacturers along with German engineering to bring together the best of European frames and hardware to build a truly bulletproof window which is strong, quiet and amazingly energy efficient.
THE BENEFITS
DESIGN FLEXIBILITY
Large window configurations up to 9 feet by 12 feet are possible. Sashes up to 7 feet by 4 feet are possible and are available as doors when sliders are not needed at Juliet balconies for instance.
HIGH STC
Noise is ever present in todays cities. More projects are being built on busy highways because of the scarcity of land. Airports are being maximized with many more flights daily. Courtyards are echo chambers and light conversation can be heard 5 floors up. Base STC starts at 32 (minimal vehicle noise) with higher STC to 46 (no vehicle noise or jet noise) available.
ENERGY EFFICIENT
U values down to .07 with vacuum glass, .010 with quadruple pane glass, down to 0.14 with with triple pane glass and down to 0.26 with double pane glass. Work with your energy consultant to determine which best matches your project’s needs.
VISIBLE LIGHT TRANSMISSION
Excellent light transmission with standard SHGC values. Allow the maximum natural light into living spaces for tenant health and well being.

TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT
High end double and triple pane configurations help to reduce cold radiation residents can feel when standing or sitting close to windows. Lower SHGC will limit the solar radiation emitted through the window, keeping the living space cooler.

WHERE YOU SAVE
REDUCE ELECTRICAL INFRASTURCTURE
Reduce the size in quantity of heaters, heat pumps and ERVs thus reducing the electrical infrastructure and amperage requirements.
REDUCE THE QUANTITY OF SOLAR PANELS
Lower U-value configurations can be used by energy consultants to reduce the number of solar panels required on a project. The energy efficiency of the glazing saves more energy than the solar panels produce.
CONDENSATE REQUIREMENTS
Well insulated and sealed glazing units reduce the possibility of condensation on the inside of the glass.
REDUCE THE THICKNESS AND QUANTITY OF INSULATION
Lower U-value configurations can be used by energy consultants to reduce the thickness and quantity of insulation in ceilings, on roofs, under the slab and on the walls.
REPLACING GLASS
European window frames allow for glazing to be inserted from the inside making replacement easier than from the exterior. Frames are dry gasket helping to avoid the difficulty of dealing with removing and applying wet sealants.
